Jasper Newton Foundation hired 3 awesome interns to work at the office this summer! We given them the opportunity to learn behind the scenes of the community foundation and all the good stuff happening in Jasper & Newton county. JNF would like to highlight the 3 interns…….

Harrison Heinig

Harrison is a junior at Ohio Northern University studying Computer Science and International Theatre Production. This summer he is very excited to be working at the Jasper Newton Foundation and having the opportunity to learn more about how the foundation operates.

Harrison also has a great interest in the art of storytelling and is currently the Technical Director for Fendig Summer Theatre for Children. Harrison has been volunteering with Fendig for many years and after Assistant Directing last year’s production is looking forward to being involved with the show again.

Harrison was first introduced to the Jasper Newton Foundation from Fendig and is looking forward to giving back to the community in a new way.

Abby Kozyra

My name is Abby Kozyra, and I’m one of the interns here at the Jasper Newton Foundation this summer.  This fall, I’ll be a sophomore at Miami University of Ohio with a Biology major.

When I’m not working here or studying for a class, I love to go hammocking with my friends, read mystery novels, or eat ice cream.  Working at the foundation has allowed me to meet people who are devoted to building a better community for everyone and also to learn about the incredible legacies people have left behind.

The Foundation does so much more than I could’ve imagined, and I’m lucky to be a part of it.  I’m excited to continue working at the Foundation this summer and learn even more about the amazing things that happen here.

Madison Anderson

Hello, my name is Madison Anderson and I am an intern here at the Jasper Newton Foundation. I also work at the historic Ritz Cinema, and have a license in life saving/guarding. I am a sophomore at the Rensselear Central High School, and I am taking engineering and art classes to prepare me for my future career of a Biomedical Engineer for animals.

In my free time I like to draw and make music. I’m very excited to work here at the Jasper Newton Foundation, and am very eager to learn more every day!
