Every Summer, the Jasper Newton Foundation aims to provide the chance to have a unique job experience and impact the community while doing it. This summer, we’re pleased to welcome Aidan Geleott as our 2025 Office Assistant as he prepares to launch his teaching career at Rensselaer Central High School!
As a graduate of Wabash College, –and former Rensselaer Bomber himself– Aidan has strived to be the best he can be for his community for as long as he can remember. An impact he’ll continue to make with this position.
“As an office assistant, I will be collaborating with JNF Staff to ensure that our daily operations are completed to a high standard,” Aidan said. “I want to remain a force of positive change in my hometown, especially as I begin my career in just a few months. This internship feels like a meaningful next step.”
Aidan’s commitment to his community is a testament to the values it instills amongst its residents.
“Many of my childhood experiences growing up in Rensselaer helped shape me into the person I proudly am today. I was raised to water your roots and always try my best to give back to those who have helped me grow in any capacity; that is the main reason I enjoy serving my community. Additionally, I think it’s healthy for the heart and the soul to channel some of our energy into other people.”
This upbringing fuels Aidan’s efforts to support the community through its most vital resource: our youth.
“I want to see more adolescents and young adults value and prioritize community service & volunteering,” Aidan said. “To get comfortable pursuing the uncomfortable, and train their brain to broaden their horizons and life experiences. Even though it may result in temporary unease or annoyance, they’ll get to meet the most comfortable versions of themselves.”
Thank you for joining us in making an impact, Aidan!
Aidan will continue to be a driving force in our community for the foreseeable future. So swing by our office this summer to say hello. Otherwise, you’ll catch him shaping the youth of the hometown that shaped him when the school year begins!

You’ll often find Aidan surrounded by friends & family.
