Good afternoon KV Families!  As we transition to eLearning due to the extended school closure, we want to ensure that we are providing our families with information that will assist them in making this as positive an experience as possible.  Please access the Extended eLearning 2020 Information/Guidance here.

We also want to ensure our students and families are provided with the information necessary as you navigate these new waters from home.

Families currently participating in the backpack program should follow directions below in order to replenish their backpacks.

Connection Lunches

Connecting Our Community: Sign-Up Form “Children Lunch Needs”

With the schools’ closings you, a parent or caregiver, may find yourself in need to provide lunches for your loved ones at home. This would be for families who use our local schools as the primary source for healthy meals during the day. If you have already made plans or have childcare that provides meals during the day this would not be a service you normally would use. However, if you are unable to provide for your children during this time we would love to help. Please fill out the form below so we can put you on our Connection Lunch list. Our lunches are made in a clean sanitary location at Calvary Assembly in DeMotte and will be delivered on the dates they are needed between 11:30 am -1:00 pm. You can also pick up the lunches if you would prefer during the same timeframe. (Only those who have signed up will be able to take lunches.)

If you have any additional needs, please reach out to Calvary Assembly.  To fill out the form, please click on this link.

For this extended eLearning experience, our district will be running eLearning days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  This means that your child will have access to their teacher from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on these days, as well as Friday.

Internet Comcast is currently offering low-income families who are new customers 60 days of complimentary Internet Essentials service. More information can be found here.

We encourage you to reach out to the internet providers in the area and your cell phone companies to inquire about the opportunities they are offering.  Many companies are providing support as we work through this situation.
