Cindy McKinney Scholarship

Established in 1994. Scholarship for a graduate or a graduating senior of Benton Central, DeMotte Christian, Frontier, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, North White, Rensselaer Central, South Newton, Tri-County or West Central with a chosen field of study in: Special Education, School Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, School Counselor, Blind/Low Vision Instructor, or Hearing Impaired Instructor.

Clifford and Carrie Clark Family Educational Scholarship

County: Jasper County, Newton County

Established in 2020. Scholarship for a second-semester Freshman at an accredited Indiana college, university, trade school, or other 2 or 4-year program.  Preference will be given to veterans or active service members including National Guard and to students who lived in Newton County, Indiana. If criteria is not met, other local rural counties will be considered.

Dr. Cecil and Gladys Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1994. Scholarship to graduates of all Jasper County and Newton County high schools pursuing medically related fields of study. Adult education and non-traditional students are also eligible.

Earl H. Passwaters Agricultural Scholarship

Established in 2012. Scholarship for currently enrolled college students pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture.

Grace Pampel Education Scholarship

Established in 2006. Scholarship for DeMotte Christian, Benton Central, Kankakee Valley, North Newton, Rensselaer Central, South Newton, Tri-County, or West Central High School graduates. Adult education and non-traditional students eligible. Scholarship awards for graduating seniors pursuing degrees in the fields of agriculture, fine arts, music, or nursing.

Henry and Mary Lou Coussens Family Scholarship

Established in 2022. Scholarship for South Newton High School graduating seniors OR a currently enrolled college student who was a graduate of South Newton High School.  Must be planning to attend or transferring to Purdue University.

Jackson Township Scholarship

Established in 2009. Scholarship for residents of Jackson Township. Graduating seniors AND non-traditional/continuing education students are eligible to apply.

LEAP Foundation College Scholarship

Established in 2020. Scholarship for a college student pursuing a degree with a focus on the pig industry.  Priority will be given to students who have a focus on pigs but a focus on other types of animals will be considered. Must be admitted to an accredited college/university.  Documentation of enrollment needs to be provided before the scholarship is paid out. 

This scholarship may be awarded to the same student more than once as long as an application is filled out each time the scholarship is offered. 

Rensselaer Alumni / RCHS Class of 1973 Scholarship

Scholarship Type(s): Adult & College Enrolled, Construction / Mechanical, Vocational
County: Jasper County

Established in 1997. Scholarship for Rensselaer Central graduating seniors OR previous graduates of RCHS who plan to attend a technical or vocational school, are accepted into a certification, 2-year program, or a junior college.
