Established in 2020. Scholarship for an Indiana high school graduating senior who would like to further their education with a 2 or 4-year degree in the pig industry.
Requirements
Eligible students must:
- be an Indiana high school graduating senior
- have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Priority will be given to students above a 3.5 GPA (must provide official transcript)
- provide a list of extracurricular activities with a description of the role played
- be pursuing a 2 or 4-year degree in the pig industry
- provide a letter of recommendation from one of the following:
1) a teacher who can attest to your potential for academic success,
2) a coach, school administrator, or guidance counselor who can comment on your leadership, or
3) an employer or leader in the community who can vouch for your character and commitment to others in your community - provide a 200-word personal essay on why a career in the pig industry is appealing to you
