Level Up Northwest Indiana
Jasper Newton Foundation is partnering with the United Way Northwest Indiana to create stability and financial well-being for neighbors in Jasper and Newton Counties. Level Up, a 12- to 18-month program offering financial education, skills training, and support in tapping into essential resources for building a brighter economic future, will be provided to residents through the collaboration between the two nonprofits.
Level Up helps build bridges between struggling, working individuals and better paying employment opportunities. As a result, many past participants have been able to pursue higher education, secure well-paying jobs, decrease debt and purchase their own homes.
Driving Home
Over the past years, Jasper Newton Foundation has looked closely at the communities we call home, listened to our people, and compiled the data needed to make better-informed decisions. Now, alongside a team of stakeholders and organizations, we are proud to announce a 10-year plan to improve our beautiful counties. Breaking it down into 4 main narratives, this plan ensures that the future of Jasper and Newton counties will be vibrant, healthy, family friendly, and prosperous. This plan is our opportunity to get everyone driving in the same direction, building on a tradition of greatness, and evolving the place that we all call home. That’s why we’ve given it a fitting name: Driving Home.
