Dr. Kathy Parkison is the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Economics at Indiana University Kokomo.

Dr. Jack Drone

President

When not seeing to the dental health of our friends and neighbors, Dr. Drone continues to contribute to the development and well-being of our community. Apart from serving as President of the Jasper Foundation’s board of directors, Jack also has an avid interested in several additional efforts and organizations. He also serves as the Director of Religious Education for Saint Augustine Church, is an editor for the Indiana Dental Association, serves as Vice President for the Indiana Section of the American College of Dentistry as well as the Indiana section of the Pierre Faachard Academy, is a board member of the Indiana Dental Foundation, and is the currently acting chairman for the Lilly Scholarship Committee.

When not serving our communities either in his office or out, Dr. Drone enjoys spending his free time with his children, coaching, and cheering on the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. He is married to his wife Jana and they have four children: Tate, Graham, Beck, and Merrick.

In addition to her dedicated service as Vice President for the Jasper Foundation's board of directors, Ashley Hopp is also currently a Financial Services Officer at Farm Credit Mid-America and chairman of the Johnson Scholarship Committee.

Dave Schrum

Treasurer

Dave Schrum serves the communities with his considerable financial knowledge, acting as both the treasurer and finance committee chairman for both the Jasper and Newton County Community Foundations. Dave Schrum works for Kentland Bank in the Rensselaer branch.

Judge James Ahler

Judge Ahler received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, and his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to his judicial appointment, Judge Ahler was an attorney with the law firm Scandaglia & Ryan in Chicago, IL. He is currently the elected judge for the Jasper County Superior Court.

Bethany Busboom

Bethany Busboom is not only a member of the Jasper Foundation's board of director but is also the owner of Crop Guard Services Inc., a passionate supporter of the Lake Village Women's Circle of Giving, and serves as the president of the Newton County Community Foundation.

Ron Jordan

Ron Jordan is a self-employed Florist, Tuxedo Rental and Gifts. Ron Jordan is a long-serving member in our community, both making an impact in his place of business as well as serving on the board for the Jasper Foundation. Apart from this, he is also involved with the Carnegie Players and is a Fellow of Saint Joseph’s College. He has also served in developing and distributing scholarships and committee nominations. He is married to his wife Suzanne and they have two daughters: Tiffany Wika and Lesley Jordan.

Robert V. Monfort

Robert Monfort has been serving our community for years as an attorney, professor at Saint Joseph’s College, and through a wide range of philanthropic affiliations. Apart from serving on the Jasper Foundation’s board, he also has served with the Rotary Club, the Lions, Drug Free Jasper County, and Jasper County Community Services. He also has a passionate interest and involvement in grants and nominations that focus on the continuous development of our communities. When not practicing the law or contributing to our counties, Robert enjoys to travel, fish, and has a love for both reading and fine dining.

Stace Pickering

Stace Pickering is an active member of our community, contributing in many more ways than just serving on the Jasper Foundation’s board of directors. His other philanthropic affiliations include serving as treasurer for Main Street Rensselaer as well as holding seats on the boards for the Rensselaer Park Corporation, the Little Cousin Jasper Festival, and RBI Baseball. When his time is not dedicated to making an impact on our communities, he enjoys coaching youth sports, gardening, fishing, and golfing. He is married to his wife Mandy and they have three children: Jacob, Ethan, and Emily.

Todd Sammons is an active member of our community, acting as a member of the Jasper Foundation’s board as well as serving the community through his work as an attorney at the Law Offices of Randle and Sammons.

Patty Stringfellow

Patty Stringfellow serves our communities in many more roles than just on the Jasper Foundation board and in maintaining the Jasper County library. Her considerable list of philanthropic contributions include involvement with the Tri Kappa Sorority, the Remington United Methodist Church, Rotary International, and the Tri County Educational Board. When looking at her involvement, she has a particular passion for the Giving Circle, nominations, the Ladies Luncheon, and has been involved in selecting the Lilly Scholar for several years. When faced with some free time away from her involvement in the community, she enjoys biking and, of course, reading. She is married to her husband Jim and they have two sons: Joshua and Jonathan.

Gina Van Baren

Apart from her career as the Vice President of Wealth Management at the DeMotte State Bank and her involvement with the Jasper Foundation, Gina Van Baren also has dedicated herself to the philanthropic efforts of the DeMotte Women’s Circle of Giving, the DeMotte Kankakee Valley Rotary Club, and serves on the boards of both the DeMotte Christian School and the DMC Foundation. When not striving to better our communities, Gina prefers to spend her free time playing the piano, biking, hiking, yoga, or reading a good book. She is married to her husband Dale and they have four children: Gordon, Matthew, Mateo, and Gabriel.

David Hensel has been an involved member of the community for years, currently acting as the Newton County Community Foundation’s Vice President. When not serving as a board member or engaging his interests with the grants committee, David also takes part in other philanthropic organizations, including the Coalition for a Drug Free Newton County and the 1st United Methodist Church in Morocco. He also serves as a member of the 4-H board. When he finds some free time, he enjoys filling it with the relaxing activities of fishing and golf.

Candace Armstrong

Candace Armstrong has been an active member of our communities in both her philanthropic activities and her career, practicing law in the middle of Newton County for over five years. From her offices in rural Indiana, she has engaged in projects in six different countries and worked with companies both large and small. Life outside the law and her philanthropic actions keep her just as busy with a son starting the Second Grade at South Newton Elementary and a daughter just now turning 2. Candace is married to her husband Mike and they have two children: Matthew and Alyssa.

Donna is very involved when it comes to her membership on the board and has further interests and involvement with the grant committee. When she is away from her philanthropic actions, she prefers to spend her free time gardening and in the casinos. She is married to her husband Dan and they have three daughters: Sarah Blaney Seide, Colleen Doyle, and Amanda Thompson.

Tim Deno

Tim Deno is an incredibly active member of our communities and serves it well outside his responsibilities as a member of the Newton County Community Foundation’s board of directors. He is also a co-founder of the Southern Newton County Pop Warner and a co-founder of Little Reiser Basketball. He is additionally very active with the Goodland Athletic Association, Goodland Lions Club, and the South Newton Rebel Boosters. When it comes to his interests and involvement with the foundation’s committees, he takes a particular interest with scholarships and grants. In his free time away from his philanthropic affiliations, Tim enjoys all things sports, helping kids, and spending time with his family. He is married to his wife Kelly and they have two children: Cody and Courtney.

Jeff Iseminger

When not seeing to the responsibilities of his career as the V.P. Loan Officer and Branch Manager of the DeMotte State Bank or to his duties with the Newton County Community Foundation, Jeff Iseminger is also actively involved with the United Church of Morocco. He take great interest in foundation committees focused on grants and business development. When not engaged in his philanthropic endeavors, Jeff enjoys watching the Chicago Cubs and IU Basketball, as well as visiting with his grandchildren. He is married to his wife Annette and they have two sons: Derek and Brock.
